Months 1-4

I won't bore you with details of the first four months.  Let's just say that Kirk and I are both happy that I'm now in the 2nd trimester.  Months 1-3 were fairly textbook although nerve wracking for some of us (or maybe all of us!) See the photos in the last post for details on baby during months 1-3.

Month 4 - Dec 3rd - Jan 2nd

A month filled with holidays, friends, and food! It's been wonderful to see everyone and I feel very blessed that our baby will be entering the world already loved by so many people.

Baby Renegar got their first Christmas present from each set of grandparents.  We will now be fully decked out for the 2010 Hokie Football season!!   Speaking of Hokie Football, we made our first 'family trip' to Atlanta over New Year's to partake in the wonderment that was Virginia Tech's stomping of the University of Tennessee.  It was made more special because we live just 15 minutes from the UT campus and are surrounded on all sides by die-hard Volunteers.  Also made special as the baby chose this time to make us fully aware of it's presence by doing something akin to the Hokie Pokie in my belly.

By the end of the 4th month, the baby looks like a fully formed human:

And is practicing swallowing, sleeping, and kicking (although Mom can't really feel it yet).
